Did anyone but kuribo take offense to my post and feel that I am a jerk? I figure most everyone here knows how we kid and what I posted was no different than many other time one of us posts as such. So tell me, who else thinks I am a jerk?

John, anyone who knows anything about Busse understood what you were saying. No jerkiness perceived or inferred. However, I concluded that kuribo is either 1) a newbie who doesn't get the reference, or 2) an idiot who needs to be ignored. Either way, no worries about YOUR conduct.

I read it as a bragging post. You were suggesting that you are in the "inner circle" and others are not.

It was kind of jerky.

Since you brought it up, I would like to say that I don't think that you represent Busse Combat well.

Jerry is humble when he does not need to be, and you are braggadocios when you have no right to be. Get it?

I saw his comment and recognized that he was trying to take a jab at you. I decided to ignore him, not wanting to give him any attention, figuring we would go away if he didn't receive it.

Thanks for the feedback. I assure you there is nothing to brag about in my collection these days.

Matteo you and I don't ever seem to see eye to eye so let's just leave it at that. I appreciate your input as much as those who do not fault me for my jest. Perhaps I should have loaded my post with smileys or something for those who don't get it, but no matter. As for my not representing Busse Combat in a positive manner, if you think so why don't you take it up with Jerry. I am sure he will do what he thinks is best, don't you. as for there being an inner circle, the only inner circle I have seen is amongst those who work for Jerry in his closed shop, that is the real inner circle, every one else is just guessing.

The old, "I was just joking, I'm not really a jerk, I just forgot the smileys" is so stale I can't imagine anyone believing that.

I think that Jerry Busse is one of the coolest and most honest guys I've ever come across, I think the opposite of you.

Yes, you did insinuate that you are in the "inner circle" with a knife that can't be revealed to the masses. Do you or do you not claim to have a Busse Combat knife that is not allowed to be disclosed to the masses?

I'm not sure if you are trying to pick a fight but in his last post Progunner wasn't trying to. Before this thread is completely derailed I suggest you drop him a PM. You guys are both good people and I'm sure this is something that can be worked out.

This thread is great and it doesn't deserve to be taken off-topic.

I really don't like getting in the middle of a dispute, especially when I respect both parties. But Matteo, if you meet John, you will not think as you do about him. He is a genuine good guy and is not "holier than thou" at all. Come to blade and you will see what I mean.:thumbup:
