Show me your skeletonized knives

(1) I use my knives quite a bit on skitours/hikes/ climbs and they do get wet, but never had a problem with rust so far. I just re-wrap them when i get home.

(2) As a fellow gram counter with a cut-in-half toothbrush, i can relate...but a cord wrap weighs 2-4 grams max.

The extra weight is worth it. Don't want my knife slip out of my hand and fall down the mountain.
Wooooow hold on there partner! So you are saying you don’t carry just Victorinox Classid SD for the ultralight hikes??

You crazy? Thing weighs like 21 grams...
Hear the man! Those heavy Vic Classic SDs weigh half of a down hood that'll keep you alive when it's below freezing! /// Hey thanks for the photos and explanation of the French knife grinders. Must be one of those vintage shops that has one long power axle. I can dig it.

While I'm here: Did you notice that Ranier Fastpak has several "wrenches" built into the butt of its highly skeletonized handle? All for 1.3 ounces!!

I got hoods gallore... On my hoodie, puffy and gore-tex jacket

I did notice that...none of my gear has screw nuts. Not my bike, skis, climbing gear or ice axes.

Still nice to have in case you need it, i guess🤷

I don't own a Swick yet, but it's under consideration...the current models are LC200N, and I'm not a huge fan of that steel due to very modest edge retention. The S30Vs have been disco'd I think.
