I was going to band practice Tuesday, while I carrying my guitar to the truck getting ready to head out, I saw my new neighbor in the back yard with his wife. Not having too time, as I was running late, we just small talked for a few seconds, then he showed my his right hand. While he was at work he got his middle finger caught in rotating equipment and "de-gloved" his middle finger past the first joint "OUCH".

The thought of that happening to me is sickening, especially if it happened to my left (finger board) hand.

One single moment of in-attention while operating certain equipment can lead to disaster.

Be careful.

just healed from trying to flatten a scale on the disc grinder, the scale slipped and the next thing the grinder found was the end of my thumb. The way it caught it didn't grind it grabbed and ripped and tore the tip of my thumb off and about a quarter of the nail. Yep its about time to do something stupid again

I also had a gut hook knife get caught in the buffer and came out and went into my leg so far I could not pull it out.

my fingertips tend to get it more than anything but nothing serious. i have only been bit a few times but not bad in all the years i have been making knives.
