Show off your 15's

Thanks for the reply. I'm still planning on ordering one, but I may file down the kick a little on the wharncliffe. I have the Northwoods Fremont, and i filed down the kick a bit to have it sit a little lower in the handle. There was PLENTY of room, and I'm liking the slightly slimmer closed profile.

I have the Hawthorne in both blade styles. The Improved Trappers wharncliffe is quite a bit narrower than the Hawthorne. Not sure how it compares to the Fremont, but the Northwoods do have beefier blades.

When you filed the kick, did it make the back spring drop? I've been considering doing this... all of their wharncliffe blades appear to have tons of room to sit lower.

Sent you a PM to avoid cluttering the 15's thread with talk of filing Northwoods' kicks. But short answer, no, not appreciably.

Thank you jrtodd46. I know you have 3 time the #15s I do, but this ebony EO was always one of my favorites.
I actually don't have any at the moment, but that will change in a few days. Trying to get one of Evan's beerlows.

I'm missing the two I foolishly sold....

I got two on the way, but they are more for trading to get other knives on my list.

I'm on the hunt for one like your's and the beerlow I constantly obsess over. lol

The Beerlows are on all of our lists. I feel your pain

I finally dug out my 15s all at once for a scan or two.
