Got excited there…thought wow haven’t seen a post from Evan in years! Didn’t know him but I was BF lurker, not even a member, for a number of years mostly reading up on steels but reading his posts and seeing his knives pushed me more to traditionals, especially 15s, and then on to become a participating member.
 
I'm not carrying mine today. But this is a picture i took a few years back in 2017 when i first received my 15.
I still remember how hard it was for me to get it. I'm located in the Netherlands and traditional knives are rarely sold here... So almost everytime i purchase a new one it has to come from the US.
When i first decited to get one, i had to scout one out here on bladeforums and had to ask the person that owned it if he was willing to sell and ship it to me.
But looking back at it i'm really glad i did because at the time this was my first GEC and getting this gave me a taste of the outstanding quality and fit & finish this brand can offer.
