I’m passingly familiar with Queen and the whole situation, but is there some specific font or knife being referenced here? I’d love to learn some more of the backstory here.

GEC literally took the Crown off the Queen!! (Queen was the best production knifemaker in America for a while! Some say Case was second at the time!!) It is all debatable of course!!

It's an obscure reference, but Bill did all the stuff he had wanted to do at Queen !! And he's still doing it!!

Ah, I see. I was overthinking it… crown lifter… queens wear crowns… maybe they lift them at times…
