Nice work,I have often wondered how to eliminate seeing the head of the bolster pin after making flush.I think there’s something wrong with this one…

Still in progress, I’m a slow worker, but getting close to the final stages.

Really good especially for a first timer, how much time you put into it.Well she’s done as of today, not perfect but I’m happy with my first re-cover. I need to call it “done” otherwise I’ll just keep working on it forever. Time to start my next project and see if I can’t do it a bit better next time.

Hard to say honestly, being my first go, there was a LOT of sitting and thinking of what to do. Also a lot of undoing and redoing work when I had to fix mistakes.Tried to do it in hour sessions so I could really sit and focus. If I had to guess, not counting research or brainstorming it probably took 7-8 hours.Really good especially for a first timer, how much time you put into it.

Yessir it’s a 2018, and started with very middling action/pull. Which is to say it started very nice for its size. Not a nail breaker but not weak either and with decently snappy action.not bad!! how did the spring tension work out? looked like a 2018, which had quite a good pull
