Show off your 15's

Beautiful array of #15s and TCs, Armando! Thanks for showin them! Is that first one sun or Nifebrite?

Thanks Perry…It's Smooth Ivory Bone. It just happens to be a very light beige now, with hues of yellow in bright light, (instead of off-white).

My most favoritest. A Gift from a Lady.

The #15's seem to be the model that I buy, sell, and trade more than any other model. Here's what I currently have…

Smooth Ivory Bone…

That's a gorgeous collection of 15s, Armando! :D But no sheepfoot!

Oh... What's this I read from the Traditional Barlow thread in 2013...

I just saw a picture of a closed Sheepsfoot and I think I'll have to pass on this run of TCs...

I'm curious. Are you still passing on the sheepfoot? Or have you finally given in? ;)

I couldn't pass on them. I ended up purchasing a Walnut and an Antique Yellow. My brother liked the Walnut Sheepsfoot so I gifted it to him after he helped me with my truck. Then, I was left with only the Antique Yellow and I had absolutely no intention of getting rid of it because I liked it so much. After talking to KBA, I realized that he had been looking for one for a while and I hadn't been carrying mine, so I sold it to him.

I need to get my hands on another Sheepsfoot :(

My favorite 15!

Every time you post a picture of this it's like a tuning fork goes off and a perfect pitch is heard. It tugs at my heart strings. Such a gorgeous knife. My next find. Maybe I should just have my wife look! Haha. She seems to have the knack for finding hard to find ones.

Well thanks. It's one of a few where I had good timeing and picked it up when they were still in production, usually I'm a day late. I really wanted an ebony one but they were sold out, which in hind sight was a good thing because the knife bright is more unique to me as I have a few other patterns in ebony. And of course Evan helped me make it a true scout knife.

That is a great knife!

I love the blade combo and EO notch! Sweet.

Well, now I can't resist reposting this little lovely picture of Evan's handiwork as well!
Seems to find it's way into my pocket on Friday evenings for some odd reason. . .;)

I had a blue camel bone in my cart a short while ago, but couldn't pull the trigger...I do have an ebony and antique yellow due in on Thursday though :)

Got this GEC #15 SF today and I got to say it is an absolute gorgeous specimen. GEC keeps on elevating the end production result with every new Boy's Knife release. The F&F is superb. The W&T is great with a pull weight that is right around 6 (I would call it) and yet is extremely smooth yet positive. The material transitions from the metal liners, bolsters and back spring to the bone scales or handles is perfect especially at the bolster/bone edge junction transitions and does not catch your skin when rubbing your fingers over these 8 points. The back spring is flush at close and when the blade is fully open and ever so slightly proud at the half stop. The pins are perfectly spun/set with none to high or to low. The blade centering is perfect and the blade is reasonably sharp. Everything about this folder is very impressive/high caliber and well worth the price in my opinion. If you don't have one yet get one you will not be disappointed I am quite certain. These will not last long!
