So after some long overdue organization, I have my knives out of their tubes and into a nice wood display case:thumbup: here are some #15's residing in their designated drawers.

I've read and re-read this thread several times and I'm certain if I ever find a Spear main or a single spear dbl bolstered 15 it will be in my pocket for a long long time...I keeping going back to the GEC site and looking at all those old pics that 152213 is amazing looking!
A couple (old pics) in Rust Red...
That second one is killing me. I don't know why but that combo of double bolsters and spear main just kills me!

Good to see your Chestnut getting some carry time, Alan/joeradza. I'm a bit ambivalent about mine. I love the clean, elegant contrast of the timber and stainless, and I particularly like the threaded bolsters, but I just can't countenance the softness of chestnut covers in a knife purportedly for 'real use'. When I looked American Chestnut up on the Janka scale, it's actually softer than pine, and who would even contemplate pine for a knife handle? I was given to understand that if a timber takes an impression from your fingernail, then it's not adequate for a knife handle.
Anyway, here's another pic of my favourite 15 out and about in Ireland. I flew to England this morning with carry on baggage only, and I'm sitting here, knifeless in Sheffield missing it already...
