There are some great Leatherworkers making sheaths for our favorite knives, so I thought we could use a place to show them all off.

The get the ball rolling, here are a few from Tal, Rick and Heber. There are others, but these three are the ones I have so far.

Each one has their own unique style and does great work.

Diomedes Industries (Talfuchre)

Arete (that also fits my Kephart perfectly):

I can't contribute, but I really appreciate the pics of both knife and sheath. It's actually exactly what I've been looking for.

Subscribed.

VASticks - who are the makers on the modded Recluse and Bushfinger sheaths?

Here's another from Rick Lowe for a Hiking Buddy:

My wife has the nicest sheath; the Oeser for her Kephart. The others are of unknown origin.

I have never seen a handle combo quite like that! VERY NICE!

I had done some really amateur stuff by myself for a while but I learned a bunch of tips from Talfuchre's (incredibly generous) post on his leather making process.

This sheath for my Arete came out 100 times better than anything I've done prior.

I still can't get my edges as clean as the pro's like Heber, Rick, or Tal....but I love how this thing fits:

The main sheath is a 2 strap horizontal carry.

I made a couple attachments for it that allow you to carry it in different ways. Here it is next to the vertical carry strap. (I'm working on a cross-draw attachment and a firesteel attachment right now)

Here it is with the vertical attached

Thanks to Talfuchre for the instruction post and Rick Lowe for the attachment inspiration. I have one of Rick's Kydex/leather drop in sheath systems and it's incredible. All the various attachments gave me ideas on how to do the different carries on this thing.

Really nice work S4E! The attachment idea is pretty cool. I like tool work too.

Looking at these pictures it's plain to see that everybody's doing good work and keeping Fiddleback knives in darn nice leather!

A good tutorial and something to look at in hand sure can lead to inspiration. Well done on the multiple carry leather and I sure will study it and may cabbage some thoughts for my work.
Rick
