It's not easy to posts pictures. I went to the Gold membership because I was told this would make it easier. It didn't. So, I doubt
the $10 membership will help. Some guys say a carrier helps.? Be happy if it does. DM

Save picture then upload file. I still use photobucket most of the time.

That's the manner I do it but I have to resize the photo several times before it will be accepted. Whereas a year ago it was accepted right away.? DM

Are you taking pics with your camera and trying to load it from there or are downloading them to your computer and then uploading them to the forum?

Let's not get off track here, there's a sticky explaining all there is to know about uploading pics....

Great Knives you guy's...

A 2 line inverted stamp is the earliest model, 1969. The maroon micarta handled models will be early ones, 1973. The black micarta earlier, 1972. Give attention to the guard the pointed guards are earlier. The guard was changed in 1981 as well as the blade steel, with the wood laminate handles, from 440C to 425M steel. In this photo is a wood handled Kalinga with pointed guard which is very rare. DMdiaplay.jpg

Sir, those are now for show time type use only, correct? you dont use them anymore to do cutting chores or do you?

Bruce, when you use Imgur, you click on the image you want to use, it gives you a choice of links? If you choose BBCode, and paste it in the reply box it should show the image . Preston

jbm, I've not used any of these knives. They were purchased for display purposes. The Akouna above is a 1972 model. DM
