Way back in time Buck sold a set of knives they call the Sport's man's set. It shipped in a felt lined Walnut display case so the tips of the knives were dipped in some kind of resin so they would not cut the felt. These knives were made in 1978/1979, I have no idea when buck put some of them into a set, I got these about a year ago.
The set also came with these

Nice folders, been trying to find a 419 with Rosewood scales for awhile now without success.
I’ve seen them, but usually for triple what they went for new.
Makael, Was this done by the Custom shop? I have a 415 with Kraton scales that I would like to have this done to, do you know anyone that can do the work?
Mtpokt built those scales for me. I don't know if he would do some more or not.

Shoot, I picked up a half dozen since I started this thread (including the giraffe one shown earlier in this thread!), the one above just happens to be the latest. SHOW THEM OFF!
