Matte black Remington 870 12 gauge with full size Marine Ka-Bar. You did say gun....:)

Glock_Racer -- for a moment when I saw the thread title, I thought maybe this would be the first post with pornography on it. Something tells me you probably weren't in the Marine Corps. While I made some errors which caused me pain, while in Boot Camp, I never made the mistake of referring to a firearm as a gun.

I don't know how many times other members of my platoon had to stand at attention next to their bunk, displaying their manhood with one hand, while holding their rifle with the other, shouting loudly for 5 or 10 minutes, "This is my rifle, this is my life (I'm not sure I remember this line of the ditty), this is my gun, it is for fun!

I was by no means a gung ho Marine, but several of the boot camp teachings remain. I am unable to call trousers pants. There was a similar punishment for that, like the gun punishment. I still call my undergarments skivvies, etc. Very weird how lessons learned with a strong dose of fear lurking in the background remain with one for so long, and so strongly.

Good thread. Some nice pistols -- and knives.

Dang!!!! I gotta get me a digital camera - or at least a scanner.

Here's my main knife and gun combo - unfortunately these pics are from the manufacturers' websites!

Here's one more combo too -- HI 18" WWII model & a P-08 Luger. The HI is a copy but the Luger is the real thing & is near mint. It was made in 1941 by Mauser, proper military proof marks, matching s/n's on all components including the two original magazines.

You guys have good taste in guns as you do with knives. I'm jealous! Ain't nothin' like a 1911 paired up with a good blade as a backup. I'm gonna have to post my Wilson with a newly-acquired folder soon so I can brag too :D

Well, I cant own a handgun yet cause I'm not 21 so I'll post a pic of my usefull tacital gun, a Remington 870.
