Show Off Your Old to New/New-ish Schrade Family

Two more for this thread.
First an Imperial Scout/Camp knife, with "Imperial Prov" (no "RI" or "USA") c1936 to c1952 tang stamp.
Based on the "safety" can opener, I'm guessing war time to post war manufacture.
This one as a pen blade for the 4th blade, rather than the "normal" punch blade.
I'm pretty sure the covers are Delrin. Knife does not have shell construction.

Next a Ulster Official BSA Scout/Camp knife, with white Delrin covers. Tang stamp is 1941 to closure.
I was told over in the Scout/Camp knife thread that the White Delrin is 1980.

As you can see, the Imperial is a bit wider. Neither has any blade rub.

Both have seen EDC duty since I acquired them.

...
Cool scout knives.
Can you post a photo of the tang stamp on that Imperial Scout? I wasn't aware there was an "Imperial Prov." with neither "RI" nor "USA", so that would be an interesting one for me to see. Thanks!

Thanks for the clarification; having both "Providence" and "Rhode Island" abbreviated makes more sense to me.
And thanks for the photo. I can't read it very well, but I think I can see the "PROV. R.I." on the bottom line. 🤓

HAMMER BRAND on the clip blade, NEW YORK/ KNIFE CO/ WALDEN on the other.

It's in very good condition and has the same blades as the Boyscout camp knife, but different scale material.View attachment 1718145View attachment 1718149View attachment 1718145View attachment 1718149
Pretty sure that's the 1956-1988 tang stamp.
Interesting knife. I like the clip point main. All my Scout/Camp knives have the more common spear point.

Thanks for the info.Yeah, its different. I really like it. I wish I could narrow down the date more. The colors are kind of 50s art deco-ish, but that style starting coming back in the mid 80s send is still popular today. So, so much for that theory.

Two Schrade Tennessee River Trapper TRT96 knives made in house shortly before Schrade closed it's doors. Not a flaw of any kind on these knives. Neither has a shield which is a feature I like.

And one of them with it's sheath just to show it off.

For all of the fishermen among us! The Fisherman’s Special is one of my favorites. It’s one of those knives that just feels good in my hand. I believe Queen and a couple of others made a model just like it with multiple handle materials, and I’m sure I’ll acquire a few more soon, but I really like this one. I have a real soft spot for the older Schrade blades because they were some of the first knives that I received and really loved as a kid. Not sure why the first two pics loaded upside down 🤔7A947ECC-68D4-4774-9BB7-C8DACFD7FBE9.jpegA9493A1D-73E1-42DC-96B6-3964EA8E5673.jpegC6AC2977-CD8B-4942-BE2B-514777A1F1FA.jpeg30387803-240C-4B46-B6AD-BA1B77558C51.jpeg

I was goofing around today (when I should have been working) and pulled out all of my Schrade Stockman knives. I started out collecting Uncle Henry and Old Timer a few years ago because my Dad always carried (and still does) an Uncle Henry 885UH. I just recently started collecting Schrade branded knives and I'm looking forward to hunting for more of those. I have other patterns but stockman knives dominate my Schrade collection.

My next step is to learn the Schrade brand model numbers that correspond to the various sizes. I need the smaller ones that go with my Uncle Henrys and Old Timers.
