Show off your Scandi Fiddlebacks

Awesome scandis gentleman!

Mark - the spalting on that Arete is incredible.

Vance - I like everything about that EDC.

Solid4ever - I really like that Scandi kephart!

Very rare guardless Hiking Buddy 3/32nd O1, Tuxedo config., full tang only a few ever made. Thinkng I may sell it but not sure yet

Back to the top with this one. I'm guessing there are some other scandi's out there.

The only one I have now is a Terrasaur. Was told that the vendor bought this one from Andy at this years Blade Show.

One of my first Fiddlebacks, 1/8 TT O1 Curly Maple:

Managed to put a nick/roll in the blade right next to guard first time I used it, which i've subsequently got rid of on the stones.

Just a beautiful knife.

I know there are a few of us that really like Fiddlebacks with the scandi grind and seeing the scandi runt in the Collections thread made me wonder what models folks have in a scandi.

Here's my current batch:

Arete, Kephart, KE Bushie, Hiking Buddy

Thanks for the pic, I was under the impression that the HB was a much smaller knife up to now. What's the blade length on that one if you don't mind?

There are some wonderful knives in this thread anyhoe, I wish Andy would still make some scandies as it is my favourite grind by far.

Hey GB. The perspective on that one might be a little off, amplifying the size of the HB. Here's a straight down comparison of the Arete and HB on the grid to give a better idea.

The HB has a 3.5 inch blade (3.25 inch cutting length as seen above) and a 4 inch handle.
The Arete has a 4 inch blade and 4.5 inch handle.

Love that Terrasaur, she's a real beaut.
If you ever decide to pass her on, I'd be happy and proud to give her a good home.

My scandi family is slowly growing. The spalting on some of these is just incredible. I never intended to be a collector, but these really are highly functional art.

Some of these could be on the cover of a Grateful Dead album.

Wow .. nice collection Tod.

I love that Osage with the classic spalting and beauty mark. That is the perfect example of that model, as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome Tod! You got your Scandi BC Karda you were looking for! I thought I was getting a Scandi BC Karda but turns out it's a Scandi EDKarda. I'm still excited though. Some day if it ever makes it to me I'll post some pics!
