you dirty dog..
that JK is too beautiful not to use.....you should have it reground with a more appropriate bevelI have a couple.
First one is JK Handmade knives. Bloodwood and 01. It's a beauty and a nice size, but is so thick behind the edge that it just didn't work out for everyday types of use. It's excels at chisel(ish) sorts of things though, if that makes sense.

This next one is a drop point hunter from G.L. Drew. 52100 steel. Stabilized walnut over black micarta. 8" overall. A beauty and absolutely perfect for everything. It's been strapped to me often. I was using it to open jack chain the other day and there isn't even a scratch on it. Great in the kitchen too. I can't rave enough about this knife and the sheath. Best knife ever.

Ah, very true. I've never really looked into stuff like that. It would probably get a lot more action after a regrind.that JK is too beautiful not to use.....you should have it reground with a more appropriate bevel
I agree, I have a few of his too.Ah, very true. I've never really looked into stuff like that. It would probably get a lot more action after a regrind.
It is a very nice knife. Valuable tool as is, when needed. It eats hardwoods, and was great for working on old oak doors recently.
