  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

These two today. Should’ve moved that part serrated mod to the Cadet X/Alox Tinker thing…

Clip point OC Settler that I reprofiled, sharpened and cleaned for use this morning.

Main blade had a long flat spot at the ‘belly’. Almost as deep as the original bevel. Been meaning to prep this one for a while, since I got a nice one for the collection some time ago. Checked my hand sharpening angles with a sharpie test. Good to go. Chops and push cuts paper quietly.

I don't think I've participated in this thread before.

Happy to join you fine SAK collectors in our never ending showcasing of one of the finest tools every made.

Here's my Alox collection, missing is the smooth Alox money clip in the car.

Pioneer, Pioneer X, Farmer X, SA1 AKA Solo, Cadet & Bantam..

After a while I noticed I just don't reach for the little Classic when I need to use something for cutting - just a bit too small and fumbly for my fingers. So... back to the Cadet. Some of my pocket stuff for September, outside of holiday and pending seasonal change.

The red cadet is looking good mate, it's showing some pocket wear

I didn’t realize just how thin an Alox Bantam was going to be until I opened the new box that arrived in the mail today. I’ve had and appreciated a Soldier since 2007, but this is a very different beast.

This will take some evaluation.
