  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Very nice. Tell me more about these two!
Gday mate, the Alox is a 2224. Basically what the Farmer is now but this one predates the Farmer. And the whistle is a 1951 military issued Hudson Whistle. I have some that date back to 1888. They have a long history with British and the Commonwealth military and law enforcement.

That tang safety has me stumped, what am I looking at?
It's a BSA, British Small Arms Single XII. Late 1950's manufacture. 315 315 Jim is right it's the hammer. I've had high dollar under over gats for sporting clays events and this old girl points as good as any. I weighted the stock slightly and added a homemade recoil reducer to make it a real joy to shoot. You can use it when you come over anytime mate. 👍🏻🦘🇦🇺

Thank you fellas.
I felt silly asking, but like 315 315 said, it looks very different than any single shot shotgun that I’m familiar with. The only one in my modest collection is an H&R .410 I use to keep critters out of the garden.

Every day for 10 years now:
