I know some of us do some pretty mundane work and some do unusual things.
Post some pics, even if it's just a neat shot of something you caught on the way to/at/from work.
I'll start, we do some pretty wild stuff here...
Radar Cross Section Measurements and Antenna Patterns
Take your car and put it up on styrofoam cups and let it sit there for an hour or so...
I've handled items ranging from 3oz to 3tons. Our largest chamber is 150'x150'x65', we can find a BB in it.
Best customer description I've heard; "20 minutes of sheer terror followed by 2 hours of interminable boredom"...
ETA - But I've only been doing this for about 7 years now. Prior to this, if you want to include my Navy time, I worked on these for better than 20 years;
As a Senior Weapons Systems Technician for Grumman (now NGC), I literally laid my hands on every active F-14 in the inventory. A, A+, B & D. It hurt a great deal to watch it go... But life goes on...
Show us what you got!!!
