Thanks John, I think it's only in recent years, I've begun to appreciate these knives for what they are. Richards knives were always very common here, and I have given away so many myself :thumbsup:

I had one just like this as a boy, the first knife I bought myself :)

An old survivor LF&C New Britain Conn boys knife I just picked up. Unusual it still has its chain, also unusual in that it has cocobolo covers, LF&C used a lot of synthetics and not much natural cover materials. Very nice swedge on main blade.
