Show us your Charlie Campagna SFOs

Wow seriously? I think that means the one I just bought is even more special. I feel like I found a Rembrandt at a flea market. Ironic that it is also going to fill the last slot in my case for my traditionals. I should have bought a lotto ticket that day too. And heck yes, I’m gonna carry it.
Did you go through tje photos on this thread Gus? If not the shows put on by the likes of Dave, Jack, and Duncan are worth a gander…beautiful stuff they shared with the porch.

Only had time to go through about the first 35 pages since discovering the thread. Couldn’t agree more! It’s actually my excuse today to still procrastinate on getting my taxes done, lol

I think I just realized you, sir, may actually be the Charlie? I’m honored to meet you if correct.
At your service!!!
What was the first SFO with Bill Howard?
Bill made all my SFOs, 10 of them Harness Jacks, 3 at Queen, and 7 at GEC!! The one you bought was my first one ever, as you know!!

Lol what's your issue with the #77 Barlows?
They are very much like the 15 Barlows... except in men's size 😜😁
As I stated above, I don’t care for the embossed logo but that isn’t what caused me to ignore the Northfield Barlows…as I also stated, I was influenced by a well respected member who posted messages including the one below (name redacted) and such posts from him were applauded by other respected SFO producing type members (other than Mr. CC who stayed above the fray). While a blunt post, it does mention the heart and sole Charlie pours into his knives, a passion I believe not held by any other that puts out knives…and that heart and soul is what makes all of Charlie’s SFOs (or whatever you want to call them) so highly regarded. Enjoy your 77 Barlows, I don’t begrudge you for owning them, they just aren’t for me.

I mean ..fair enough I suppose
I was sorta being tongue in cheek
But different strokes for different folks I suppose

Charlie Campagna and Mike Latham contributed to the design of many of the greatest knives made by Great Eastern Cutlery. My photograph includes only a handful of them. The knife collecting world is better off as a result of these collaborations. No one can seriously challenge the genius and integrity of these two men.

Of course it stems from an age when politeness, kindness and neighborliness were important!! Not so much today!!!
I quite disagree with you!!!
I was blessed with grandparents that with one exception lived into their 90's and within a stone's throw of me growing up. I understand the age you speak of with reverence and could not agree with you more.

Carrying this one today :)

I don’t normally post the same knife pic in two different threads, but Dave knowtracks knowtracks says this one fits this thread too.

A week ago our porch friend Buckeye Sharp Buckeye Sharp acquired this Interior Ivory HJ #6 and was good enough to post it here as well as the HJ thread.
It just so happens that I had left off at HJ #5 with Charlie's SFO's. So now there is no need to post this Beauty!
Bill made this knife from an older Case that Charlie had, he DID do it justice!!

That takes care of the Red jigged bone example!
