Show us your most expensive knife!
Not your favorite, but the one you paid the most for. Mention the cost next to the picture :)

That would be none of your business.
Move this to W&C and I'll add adjectives.

Oh, don't be so hard on him; all he wants to see is your most expensive knife.

About $120.

Right now it's one of these.

Depending one how they're priced. I'm not really sure. I traded into both of them.

It used to be this

After having a custom TI pocket clip built and installed I was in about $300

I missed the part about "the one I paid the most for" Currently it is my Benchmade Bedlam. I paid $140 online some place.
Here's a bad picture of it next to some knives that I have since traded

Weird how much resistance this is getting. If your most expensive knife is a Chris Reeve, William Henry, Rockstead, etc, then google will tell you about how much it cost. If it is less than $1200 for one of those Rocksteads or WHs, then you paid less than the price of an easily researched production knife. Is it cheaper than a Patek watch, a Mont Blanc pen, a pair of John Lobb shoes? Those are easy to look up as well. Is the push back from fear of home invaders, a haggling buyer, the wife, the gubmint, or something else?

My previous most expensive was $715. Current is $500. Next in line will be $625. No pics cause I don't have any of them with me in the 'stan at the moment, the $500 is getting tweaked by the maker.

I think I spent around $120 each on these two knives. Still the most I've spent on a knife for myself. The funny thing is, if I sold these now I could pay rent for about four months from the profits! :)

(I'm not going to sell these, by the way!)

This SAR knives custom Titanium Slug Dashi was about 250 dollars. Expensive for what it is. But I just love it.

I paid $350 for a Cutters Knife and Tool / Brend #2 Folder (double action, titanium framelock).
The one below my beater Sebie.

I also have no idea why everybody's panties are in a bunch about this thread.

This is GORGEOUS. But I assume the price is either a typo or a joke?

He is a maker here on the forums and I have seen several of his knives sell in that price range so I do not think it is a mistake. It is a nice knife though isn't it?

Sometimes I wonder, what would I do if I had every penny I've spent over the years back from buying knives..... and then I think.... Probably buy more knives O_o

Any osborne custom to my liking would fit the bill of my dream knife.
http://www.knifeart.com/pwaosdaandbl.html With black carbonfiber handle inlays, and a pocket clip would be phenomenal.

Picked this up at the CKG show back in March of this year. It's a Kirby Lambert small Orion. It's a one of a kind since he milled out the liners in a manner he won't do again. Any other variations on this custom will only be available from TNK. Cost is $525

Probably my BK9...

... cost is well under $100. On the one hand, I got it for free - a gift from my son and daughter. On the other hand, those friggers are expensive to raise. :D
