Great looking knives guys. Has anyone ever seen a custom scout? I sure havent. BTW, boy scouts dont carry scout knives anymore, and I doubt most could identify the can or bottle openers.
How do you like that Demo? I keep wanting to get one, but I keep getting told not to bother, that my Wenger SI is much more refined.
Here's the one I had as a scout. It looks a little worse for wear but it is my original. I remember begging my parents to buy it at the scout counter in a local department store about 40 years ago.

I did the same thing with my dad 38 yrs. ago except it was a Camillius Cub Scout Knife. I really didn't think he would get it for me, but the next thing I new he was shelling out the 5 bucks for it!
Absintheur posted the picture below. What is the small blade with thumb stud. Most scouts have a can opener but some have these instead. Is it just a smaller blade?
That is the can opener. I have that same knife and the can opener works pretty well, it does take more force and is more destructive of the can lid though.
