Show Us Your Scouts

Wow. Very nice stuff everybody!!!!! Some of these bone handled models are truly mouth watering.

Here's a bone handled scout that I managed to snap a few pictures of today. This is an older Craftsman, made by maybe Ulster? I'm not quite sure. The shield must have fallen off at some point, because it is now upside down. The green bone scales are truly glorious. The whole knife is in extremely good condition. The walk and talk of the various blades are better than most slipjoints made today. I'm not sure whether the bail is original or not. Either way, the bail design on this scout is terrible. It's kind of like those old Kamp King shell knives, where one good yank causes the bail to fall right off.

I've only got three. I've got an Ulster Old Timer Scout, this old Remington, and this Ulster with the sawcut delrin handles.

Here are a couple high mileage scouts I carried back in the 80s as a Life Scout.

I guess this old beat up Kutmaster would be a scout. It does have a cool awl and a mean little scalloped secondary blade.

You guys have some really nice blades. Thanks for showing them off. John
