I cut excess tape off some blades about to have Boltaron and Holstex molded to them. With my AEBL and suretouch neck knife.

I had been using a serrated Salt 2 with LC200N for about 6 weeks since it came extremely sharp out of the box, but it has become annoyingly dull and I am feeling too lazy to sharpen it. Switched back to the Caribbean Salt, also LC200N, which has had much better edge retention.



Still the ugliest knife I have ever seen.

If you want a tire plug kit made to be used day in, day out with spare parts available, etc... look at the offerings from HATCO (https://www.hatco.com.lb/tire-repair-products/). Scroll down to find the plug kits, the page is not the best I have seen.

I found about them once I broke a couple cheap sets. I buy them from a Spanish dealer that carries them (Kursport) but I bet you can find someone in your area (or country) that carries them.
I bought the short needle punch and spare needle. Along with inserts, the scarring tool, vulcanizing cement, etc. Feels solid (heavy) and works great.

The kit in the picture you quoted is sold at some 4x4 accesories dealer. Don't look too bad but the low(er) price makes me suspicious....
