Inadvertently locked myself out of my apartment's back door. I always carry a single house key in my pocket, even if just outside momentarily. Of course my Vic Rambler is always in my pocket, too. Anyway, I inserted the key into the doorknob. It would not turn the lock mechanism. OK. I'll just walk around to the front door and gain entry. Uh oh. I could not remove the key. Pullled and twisted and pulled, it would not come out. Think. I took out the Vic and inserted the bottle opener/philips screwdriver/wire stripper tool through one of the stuck key's cutouts. After a minute or two of vigorous pulling and twisting, with the rambler serving as a “handle”, the key finally slid out. Whew! Went around to my place's front door and let myself in. The door locks received a fresh dose of graphite.

Hulling poppy for the kitchen. At first I tried to use a Knipex, but a knife does it cleaner.
