We are using mini alfalfa cubes as a food supplement during the hay shortage. The cubes need to be soaked briefly in water before feeding them to the sheep. When I let the cubes sit in water too long, the ones in the bottom of the bucket get stuck together with the dust, and they cannot be shaken out of the bucket into the food trough. A foot long pry bar would have been better for digging the cubes out of the bucket, but the Kansbol was what I had on my belt.

Take care of those sheep. I've had to count a few the last few nights.

Supports for a tomato plant and some whittling. The two drink stirrers just need to be sanded and oiled, while the butter spreader still needs more knifework. The spiral grooves aren’t yet consistent enough.

Forgot to snap a pic, but I finally used the Oso Sweet for something besides a piece of artwork. A Chewy box with a big bag of dog food came today (but damn, no knives). I usually use a box cutter, which does alright on the box, but tears the double-layer dog food bag to shreds, even with a new blade. Of course the knife had no problem with the box, but it also cut cleanly through the bag like a light saber through a block of cheese. Surgical precision from one end of the bag to the other. I never had so much fun filling the dog food bin.

I can just picture that happening too, especially since I’ve done the exact same thing to those Chewy boxes.
See, I told you that you’re going to fit right in 👍.

Went to see Maverick today on IMAX, edc’ed a bit more than usual based on current issues. GB2 and VP9 were comfy and quiet. Great f’ing movie! Packed IMAX Theater standing up and cheering our military many times over. Thank you to all that have served and god bless the men and women of our armed services that have sacrificed all. You will always be remembered!

Did some property maintenance for an elderly family friend.

Cleared out a few small trees she didn’t like. She wanted them put into her burn pit, so I processed the trees into thirds so it would all fit.

Covered the new shed with a big tarp so I can treat and seal the wood without worrying about the rain too much. Used 80lb blocks as anchor points for the tarp. Five anchor points per side. That’s a total of 1,600lb of weight keeping the tarp in place.
