It is my first. I bought one from the secondary market but the Canadian Customs agents were nice enough to write some incorrect info on the package and therefore “undeliverable” as per Canada Post. It’s headed back to the seller and we’ll try again.

Ouch! Dealing with Customs would put me on pins and needles all the time I think. I'm glad you've got one in-hand now!!

I really like that "unfinished" finish! It's spartan-like to me for some reason... I hope CPK offers finish options in the future!

Yes, we do! One side looks like wood, and the other looks like leather.

I made the sheath my self, it a one side wood one side leather glued together,
Just a simple slip sheath for easy carry.

I'll have to say, that's pretty ingenious. Cool too, being half wood and half leather! Never seen such a sheath before...

I got mine now and am really contemplating an extremely sexy leather survival type sheath with an altoids tin holder and all the bells and whistles. This is my new go to survival knife

I can say with almost certainty that perhaps apart from Lorien's, your HDFK has seen the most action out of all the HDFKs currently in the wild
