Show your traditional Horn handles

Gentlemen, a fine bunch of beauties everyone has to show! :) I saw this thread and happen
to remember this 85 in Buffalo that I got off of the exchange awhile back. Just a great pattern
in any handle choice, IMO. ;)

Several very nice horn knives in this thread already, my only horn is a rams horn Buck 110 ordered thru their custom shop.

Great stuff all around, I just love the translucence of horn. The best pieces are at least as interesting as stag, and tougher as well.

The only one I could see on the shelf is this little Ocee River small sunfish. Looks like ram's horn.

I've been thinking about doing that myself. How does it feel in the pocket? Are you happy with fit and finish? What are your impressions of your custom Buck knife?

I agree with Jack! ADEE, those are some marvelous examples of horn handles!:thumbup:

Jack, the same goes for you; thanks for the awesome examples.:cool:
I have no idea what this 3-bladed implement is though!
It reminds me of a set of gap gauges for spark plugs, but I doubt if that's its true purpose in life!
Will you please educate me? Thanks!

btmac, your buffalo horn Queen is superb too!:thumbup:

ADEE Massively characterful horn on those knives you show, I particularly admire the pile sides of some that have blonder colour. The fork has a really pretty handle too. Thank you for showing them, most rewarding to look at.

Fit and finish are perfect for a 110, I could not be happier with it. They are large for the pocket but can be carried that way, most of my 110's I use for yard work or while riding the Harley so I use the sheath.
I will order another sooner or later, Buck did a nice job.
