I'm more of a lurker here than a poster, but there is nothing that I like to see more than the knives you folks USE. Hard use, soft use, cutting rope or thread, envelopes or boxes, opening letters or whittling wood. What traditional folders do you reach for for your every day work? What do you carry when you are hunting, fishing, hiking or camping? Show that grey patina, or those blades worn thin by that shard of arkansas stone. I have a few I'll photograph tonight and post here when I'm done with supper. :)

Pete I rotate my user knives.I use most of what I have, some harder than others. Some can take it better, and some certainly outcut others
This week,I've been carrying this Tony Bose shadow. It was scuffed a bit when I bought it,that really doesn't bother me,it was broke in for me.But losing it out of my pocket is another thing,so I try to keep a feel for it.

These four usually land in my pocket at some point or other.Especially the MooreMaker lately cause it's new. The Case 63032 spent the most time so far.

And on those rare occasions when I just carry one my avatar Bose.

A rare K Hampton sighting in James Culpepper's post. I don't think James is ever under-knifed with his EDCs.

Speaking of James & rare knives.I occassionally carry this one

From the top: A Case CV Sodbuster Jr., Case CV Peanut, Schrade 96OT, Imperial Barlow, Kutmaster equal end jack, Case 62087 with broken off master blade, Russel Green River Works barlow, and an old Ka-bar sheepsfoot or ground down hawkbill. The camp/scout knife to the right is an old bone handled knife of unknown maker. The only markings on the knife are on the tang of the master blade: "Made in USA".

The three above are the ones I am carrying now, with a Victorinox Recruit and a Buck 110 Folding Hunter.

The Victorinox Pioneer on the bottom is my EDC. I bought it new in the early 80s, went on to other knives after a few years, and starting carrying it again a little over a year ago. I feel funny without it.
