Here's my wife and constant hiking companion last August in Lake Louise, Alberta and on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The last three pics are on a backpacking trip along the Superior Hiking Trail on Minnesota's north shore.

We have done a number hiking trips, backpacking, camping, etc...but if I bring a camera, it's usually to take pics of the surroundings, etc. I never think to get pics of us...candids, etc. Yes, I am an idiot and will pay for it eventually....


This thread is a great reminder to shake off the winter blues and get out in the woods and have some fun!!!

Here's my crew! All girls. Ya, I know what you're thinkin.
We do everything together; hike, ride motorcyles, hunt, fish, camp, and ski. I get to play Drill Sergeant in the morning, Guide, Medic, and Team Tanguay Crew Chief.

Riding last summer. Over the years we've had more than our share of trips to the ER. Thank God for Blue Cross and Blue Shield!

This one has her own Bushmaster Ar-15! Bought and paid for with her own money$$.

Wise ass. This one's had more stitches in 15 years than I've had in 40!

I have to remind myself sometimes that I'm very fortunate to have a wife that enjoys as many of the same activities that I do, like fishing:
