Show your zaans!

Well, I've been sucked in.
I need an Umnumzaan.
Especially with that crazy blade, a blue lock side, and CF scale.
A mix of my three favorites from the thread.

Oh, and blue o-rings!

Heres my zaan. Its seen quite a bit of use and I put it away for a while to carry other knives. I tore it down and cleaned it up real good last night. Gave it a few swipes on a strop and its back in business as of today.

...there are many like it, but this one is mine. Borrowing a line from the one and only Dule Nukem, "Hail to the King Baby!"

Ahh , but I think that quote can be attributed to Ash from Army of Darkness which supercedes the ol Mr Nukem.

As well as this classic,
Ash (Ashley J. Williams): Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?

And this,
Ash (Ashley J. Williams): Yo, she-bitch! Let's go!
And this,
Possibly my favorite,
Ash (Ashley J. Williams): Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Army of Darkness kicks ass! Btw Fellas...as of today,I am a Zann man! :) lol! It showed up before I headed out to work this am! I never had one in my hands till today and man is it smooth! I could go on & on! This instantly became one of my favorite knives I currently own!

Pic or it didn't happen brother!!!

Thanks rg02. I am new to crk. How can I find out? I guess I could look over the listing again.

If you look at the bottom Zaan in the bottom pic of my post on page 2 you'll notice a circle or disc in the lock bar groove, it's there to prevent hyper extension of the lock bar when disengaging the lock. Some like, some loath it- makes no real difference to me even though I don't think it's necessary.

Ahh ok. Mine has the over travel stop. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1364413701.699045.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1364413737.782494.jpg
Mine doesn't have that second ball bearing in the frame though. What is its function? detent of some sort or? Also is that bearing a newer version or a special version? Im sure the answers are right in front of me. Looks like I need to take the time to read over the CRK threads on here to learn more. Any suggestions on which thread to read over first? I'm ready to learn :)

Hey dark--- check out page 2 of this thread. I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) that the first batch of 20 had the double ceramic ball set up? They also had umnumzaan inscribed as well?
