Shreveport Fall Hammer Inn "pictures Added"

Forces are conspiring against me to prevent my attending this hammer-in... well it's mostly my fault but anyway.
I did a quick search and it looks like you have these hammer-ins fairly regularly. I will do my best to make it to the next one. Any idea when that might be?
 
I have Hammer ins 2 times a year. Spring and fall. Sorry you cant make it. Will be a fun time.

Got Strippers? Some of my favorite hammerin involved strippers and beer.
 
Strippers? Did Dan install a pole under the new roof? Nowadays, you may wanna replace the beer with little blue pills. HEHEHE
 
Ya gotta take them pills with something, just as well be beer ;-)

And yes, he installed several new poles under the roof for support. No reason we can't get dual use out of them.
Maybe you can round up a couple of strippers from around Larto lake ?

Sorry Dan, but as you know I won't be able to make it. Didn't realize that is the day of my daughters homecoming. I may try to ride up on Sunday.

Dan i already emailed you about this but unfortunately I can't make this one. Just life got in the way for this one. I will miss everyone and i better see yall next spring.
 
I had a great time at the hammer-in Dan is a great host, teacher. Between Dan, Andy, and Joe I might someday learn to hammer on hot metal.

I did not take a lot of pictures, but here are some of Dan making damascus like a machine.

Another great one Dan - thanks so much. Truly enjoyable group of folks. We just never seem to get it all done, do we? Apologies for skipping out early yesterday. I'm sure I missed a very interesting afternoon and am ready for next time already.

Your forge is looking great! Wish I could have been there. I gave some thought to coming down, but just couldn't swing it. Perhaps in the spring...

Hate that I couldn't make it, Dan. Missed getting to see all you guys. I've been MIA for a while due to crazy work stuff. Things are settling down, so at least I might be able to get by on a Sunday just to visit!
 
Like others I'm truly sorry I couldn't make it. I had a blast last time, but Calculus demanded my attention that weekend unfortunately. I will try to make it up there on a Sunday one of these days.
