Great Photos and review---

I have tested more Siegles than anyone I know and can assure you the man makes OUTSTANDING knives..

This will not be your last

The bottom of that stump, and the center of the root ball

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I had two black walnut trees sawn into lumber years ago and the sections near the bottom and at the junction of large branches can be spectacularly figured. They're not the most stable, but wow can they be beautiful.

Here's a jewelry box I made for my wife from Butternut (I found that I can't stand this wood. Too fuzzy.) and a great section of Black Walnut for the top.

Great knife by the way. Thanks for sharing your chopping fun.

I don't know if its worth the effort, But......

....If anyone wants it....location is in lake county CA town of Nice, near Clear lake.....

I was thinking about how to test my chopper. Now I know. And my neighbors are gone for the weekend.

Amazing demonstration of the power of the knife!!
And the hand that used it.....

All the best,

awesome. i have a siegle khukri ... but this chopper variant is ON MY LIST now :)

Bladite

Bill makes a fine blade.....I had a RAW Chopper some time back. While throwing it....it hit the driveway hard.....very minor nick in the blade and it was still rocking! I really like that particular model!

I have been bugging Bill to make me an Original Hoodlum for "quite" some time...I would love to have it in 5/16ths!!!!

Man really impressive, 40 min ehh. I have cut down similar sized tree's with knives and it sure felt longer than 40 min for me to do it lol.

Great work, hopefully your hands are ok after that.

I had gloves on....I did forward cuts, back cuts, switched to left hand briefly for a few cuts....doubled up with both hands for some cuts and had about a 3 or 4 min break about halfway through the whole exercise....

Thanks again everyone for all your nice comments and checking out this thread..makes it worthwhile!!:D
