Here are a couple of pics:

First, the obligatory in-hand shot

And a group pose. After lunch my partner took a nap and I carved a tiny little spoon from a stick I found within arms reach. I only used the SAR-4 despite the small size of the stick.

The knife has already tasted blood. Unfortunately, it was mine, not an elk's! (I unconsciously was using my free hand to guide it back into the sheath. . .
