Sighting!!! . . . . Killa Zillas In The Mist!!! . . . .

about the folder. If I owned a reputable knife company based on fixed blades like Busse, I do not think I would venture into a folder unless I needed to.

Just think what a folder will bring into the mix. Tons of threads about how my folder locks up this far across and I wacked the spine with a sledge hammer and the lock moved a little.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!

I could just be really tired after a long night of work or maybe.....

Busse is sticking with a good thing.

I would think that Busse has to much of a "rock solid" reputation to hinder it with the mechanics of a folder.

I am probably way off in another world as normal though....

Later.

I'm pretty sure the only cure for this thread drift (read: folder talk) is for Jerry to show more Zilla pics, but that's just me...

All this BUSSE talk. I've yet to check one of these out. Probably won't ever get the chance to. Just too much out of my price range :[ Damn economy...

Um, Jerry..... please make this available soon! I'd love to make this my 2009 backcountry big chopping knife of choice!

:D:D That just about sums it all up for me as well:thumbup:

If I want a great folder there are lots of guys who do them already....

When the Zilla comes out I bet it will be the toughest Khukri done todate....now that is a "mile stone" in anyones language....

What I would like to know is has anyone got a CS San Mai Khukri to do a chop off with????:D:D I have their old Carbon V one and as this was "coated" I stuck with it....did'nt feel like shelling out on the monster money for a San Mai...maybe some of the "better off" Hogs can send a San Mai Khukri to Noss and Jerry can send him a Zilla.... although personally a normal chop off would be more interesting to me....I never see the point in breaking anything when you know how tough it really is....for me the FFBM should have "lived" and been sent back to Jerry for posterity:thumbup::thumbup:

Still.....CS San Mai V Busse KZ.... it's like waiting for the "rumble in the jungle" all over again.....

And before anyone badly knocks CS Khukri's....my Carbon V one is a pretty darn good chopper....the handle needed a dremmel sanding bit put to it to smooth out the "rough acorn" chequering...but after that it's not bad at all...although my use is "regular"....no "extra caffine" lamp posts and concrete in it's diet...:D:D

does this knife will be really exist in future?
:p

If you mean the Killa Zilla Busse khukri, yes, it really exists. Two fine folk from Busse brought it to our lunch GTG yeterday for a sneak peek. I think Busse and khukri fans will be very happy, although a knife that large/heavy in INFI will not come cheap.

No details beyond what Jerry has revealed in this thread. It's definitely blade heavy, as a chopper should be.

Yer kiddin'... It's blade heavy? No sh:foot:!! LOL, tell us something we don't know, like... does it have a fusion handle or... Is the butt of the handle flared out a bit for better gripping... Or, the question on MY mind... How much did it cost to replace the restaurant's wooden tables after y'all went all Killa Zilla on 'em with the proto, and how many chops did it take to cleave each 'em in half!!! ;) :D:D:D

without exposing any other specs, how about sharing your subjective impressions? namely...

compared to what you had in mind before actually seeing/holding it, was it:

- heavier or lighter than you expected?
- more or less traditional than you expected?
- more or less "holy shit factor" than you expected?
- stuff like that...

surely there's more of that sort which you could share without getting into trouble.

For those wondering what it looks like my money is on the version Chopchioux did....Jerry seemed pretty blown away when he saw that...

As for the time line on availability....any news there would be interesting....???

Pretty sure there will be some AT Blade. 2009 SE...

Jerry did that with the ASH-1 2 years ago.

The ASH-1 SE at Blade, a few customs squirting out at Ganzaa, and then the full on release near the end of the year.

Who knows... It really depends on what and how much Jerry is drinking...
