Sighting!!! . . . . Killa Zillas In The Mist!!! . . . .

Bingo!!! :D

.

Well, until that day comes, I guess that my XM-18 will have to do... It'll last a loooong time, so you just keep on keepin' on! :D:thumbup: ...And if ya ever need someone to test them Busse proto folders you got stashed around your office... You can count on me! ;);) ...Just please don't lose them again!!! :p

:D

Well I think the spec's of the Zilla will be pleasing to the majority and I guess that is as good as it can be....

I think this blade will out chop my NMFBM and therefore will be the best chopper Busse has ever done on a large release knife...

MOAB's etc perhaps excluded....but I would at least wait and try one before looking at a custom job. If you consider that it is not always the man with the heaviest axe that wins tree felling competitions you might find that the Zilla spec's achieve greater ability than you think.

My NMFBM can bite pretty deep into wood just using the weight of the knife and not undue "strength"....

I think the Khukri will go even deeper.....and at those spec's be able to be used all day.....if you are going through fence posts in a few swings....how much more performance do you need?

i think one of the character of buss is opinonal that leave the room for the clinet or user to chose his own style!!! like cover , handle ,LE or some thing like that kind.
so the thickness is the same , there are ash-1 and skinny ash ,and with this way , the boss can meet needs of all.
i am sorry for my poor expression, naive!

Re: weight...I used a 30oz composite softball bat for years because it was manly but I only had warning track power at best. Then I used a 26oz composite bat of the same manufacture (Miken Freak) and homered almost every decent pitch. If the same physics apply, I think that a .270" khuk will outchop, and certainly outcut, a .375" khuk. But hey I'm just a keyboard commando.:D

OK. I got time for one single malt before bed. Oban, I think.

Now ... off to the mattresses. The old man must arise at 0400 to serve "The Man."

Night, all.

I hope that, somewhere in the wilds of Tennessee, Guyon is enjoying his protracted break. I miss that boy.

Well, at least not from Busse Combat..............

.

Now, now, let's not be discouraged. . .

We are trying our best to make a folder. . . . Take the "Killa Z" for example. . . .We weren't able to get the knife to fold completely in half, but we did get a pretty good bend in the middle!!!! . . .. . .. . . .:D. . . . .

1/4 down, 3/4 to go...! ;) ...Any progress is good progress!! :D:thumbup: I'll drink to THAT.

Have you tried a hinge? :D

Brilliant!!!!. . .. I will purchase a piano hinge today and start welding.

I think a "swing-out-of-the-side" Killa Z might just be the ticket.

I can almost see HOGducci smiling now!!!!
