I took off my shoes and socks and now I can count to 114. :D

I count 101 knives ordered so far.

I use empty MD-20/20 bottles (or Thunderbird if MD is not available).

I have two people to send info to, but my count is the same 101.

It is a tough job drinking all those bottles of cheap rot-gut wine each day, but somebody has to do it so the count will be accurate.

Gus, your prediction was accurate!

We can close down the list now.....no one else gets a Forum knife.

LOL.:D

I'm all for the bolster stamp.

It's really great to see how successful this years traditional forum knife is becoming:thumbup::).

I'm actually at a loss on the "send your packaging" thing.
WTH does that mean? Do I send you a USPS box or what?
For the record, I don't care what it costs me, but I want mine
shipped in a Priority USPS box with some packaging other than a
wet sandwich baggie and some socks. :D

Seriously though, I'd rather not have mine sent in an envelope.
How do ya'll normally do this?? This is my first forum knife. :o

I bought a 9 1/16 x 5 5/8 x 1 1/4 standard video box and a 9 1/2 x 12 1/2 photo document mailer at the post office. Pre-addressed the video box and folded it flat. When the word is given I will put a check with the box, slap it in the document mailer and send it off to Bastid.

I'm not sure but I think you put a pre-addressed smaller box inside another larger box with a check inside it....kinda like nesting boxes. The smaller box will be used to send your knife to you. The problem I'm having is finding two small boxes. :D

Actually, I think it would be easier for all of us to just meet up with Bastid at his place in November and pick up the knives in person and then throw a huge party with him and his goats.:D

if i may i would like to bump my order to (2) knives,

thank you

See that's what we need a standard, everyone has access to a Post Office or a Rural Route Carrier, either way you can get all the supplies for free and the rate with insurance will be the same in the lower 48 states.

I'm sending in the packing material to Gus to make it easier on him I don't know if the majority doesn't do the same will it make it more confusing in the end?

Just wanna make things as easy for Gus and Steven as possible.

Why don't we standardize it?

If everyone mails Gus one of those "0" padded envelopes AND the small USPS video box(which you should all have anyway) the knives can go into the envelope and then the box, and they will not flop around, and you can re-use the envelope if Gus doesn't seal it.

Does that work?

That's so crazy, it just might work!

I will do that then. Will that box hold (sizewize) 3 knives securely? I still haven't decided whether I'm gonna add on another yet.
If that will work, then I'm good to go.
(I don't have one of those boxes here or I could check it) :)

That box, and that envelope, unfolded, will hold about 5 Queen knives packaged in the standard box.

I thought that you were decisively out if we did not offer an ATS-34 blade?

Change of heart?

How can this be possible?;)

How, in this time of economic instability and extreme high unemployment, can we come up with the biggest participation in a Traditional Forum knife since the beginning?(rhetorical question, no answer required....because I KNOW the frikkin answer....the knife is gonna be rockin' like Dokken)

Guys,

This should not be that complicated or confusing.
The goal here is only to send the payment in with a self addressed box that you want your knife to be mailed in.

Here is how to achieve the goal.

Once we know the exact price (not that we have met the 100 knife level), we will let you know. We know that the max price will not be over 97.00.

At that point, obtain a small box that you want you knife to be shipped to you in. All of us have purchased knives in factory boxes before they are not that big. Put your address on the box. Get another box or padded envelope and a check or M.O. and mail it to me. NONCONUS shipments/payments are welcome and will be handled on an individual basis with no added cost other than exact shipping costs over the CONUS shipping.
