When you open your mailbox and there are three in there for you...

You've already spent this month's, and next month's knife budget...last month.

When you do the "catch and release" and you trade or sell to the guy who called "seconds" three separate times.... This month.

When static keeps packing peanuts on the underside of your trash can lid.

When you set up a paypal account just to buy knives off of the exchange and you hit your $5000 initial limit in under six months :( You are selling and trading to many when every person that works at the post office knows your name, whats in the box and that you ship priority.....

When the Perl script you've written to scrape the Exchange and auto-reply has an OR statement more than twenty terms long.

When you make a trade with someone only to see the knife you traded for sale and you buy it again.

When you have a quiet moment and think back to when you bought your first 100+ dollar knive and it was a really big deal, with lots of thinking and justifying involved. How relieved when you let yourself decide to buy and the rush of the hunt.
How happy you where when you finally bought it, the anticipation while waiting for it (or while driving home). The opening and hours of looking, glancing, fondling, positioning amd oh yea, carrying and using it.

That is when you realize how deep in the rabbit hole you actually are.

Now which site had that decepticon1 again?

When you snag something pretty, get the usual nice congratulatory messages, plus one that says "I got excited when I saw the thread title because I wanted one of those. But I saw you had already posted so I didn't even bother to open the thread."

:p :D
