Signup: Strider SnG Knife Passaround

That sounds good to me. I guess if I waited this long, a littile longer can't hurt.
 
Well, I got the SnG that I bought before I knew Mick would make us one. It is quite a knife! Here are my first impressions:

1. The lockup is rock solid, but it is quite a task to disengage the lock. This is one knife that will not close on you! :eek:

2. The SnG has a huge ball detent, so it a a little hard to open one handed. AFAIK, it just needs to be broken in.

3. When the knife is open, the blade is rock solid, but when the knife is closed, the blade can move from side to side a bit. The frame-lock keeps the blade in place pretty well. This appears to be by design.

All and all, this looks like another "hard-use" knife from Strider, but it isn't quite a big as the GB or AR.
