I’m starting to think the Flak Jack won’t ding until spring time. The micarta is still needed to block out the snow. Once the weather warms, they can perform repairs and shape some handles.

What's your definition of spring?
They're not using it to block snow, we don't have any and only had 1 decent spell where we did - Besides, there's no gaps in the steel, block,brick, ballistic panels and such I think it's pretty tight over there ... as a side note it's rumored Jerry has an "anti-drone" radar guided countermeasure matrix. There's more but he knows where I live so that's all I can say. ... Personally I think he's the source point for the rumors -

We can almost count on snow even on Easter,. Originally being from Virginia, kind of freaked me out the first time after I moved here. Back in the commonwealth I can remember mowing grass on Christmas eve - Yeah, not here HAHA!
If I was a bettin man, I'd say we'll hear something before the end of March, keep in mind I have a horse in this boat race

We are breaking record highs here in the NOLA region - It is pure shorts weather right now basically. It was 61 degrees when I woke up and it felt refreshingly cool/cold, that's how short the "winter" here is, and how much of an effct the humidity plays...

We did have 2 "deep freezes", one of which shut down the city for basically 2 full days (they shut the water off at Louis Armstrong and flights were coming and going the whole time!)

If it would not stop raining, I could already be mowing my grass every 4 days to keep up...

I got dinged and paid yesterday for CF.

I hop Flack Jack is bumped a bit, they were expensive blades relatively speaking, and I have paid for DS8 and SK back to back...Satin FJ almost as much as SK...CS basically same price...

They've typically started shipping two to three weeks after the first ding date. But that's just first reported shipping notice after the first re3ported ding. How long before the shipping notice on any particular ding might be a different issue. And, of course, there's still going to be a few days between the shipping notice and delivery. But I expect we'll start seeing these in hand in about two weeks, and pics in hand in about three.
