Well, the Investigation of Simon McGlynn is really starting to cook. As of this moment, his Home has been located, he has over 300 UNANSWERED E-mails, and is advertising that he has NARCOTICS (prescription) for sale. Not Only does he sell Knives, but Morphine, Oxycontin, Percocets, Xanax, and Valium. I guess this qualifies him as a DEALER:eek: :eek: :eek:
To the formites who Simon has Raped, It looks like his KNUTTS will be hanging higher than anticipated. E-mail me or Mark for further. It is my understanding SANTA-COP is going to be knocking at his door CHRISTMAS DAY.
And his story about ALL the knives being stolen, is pure Horse-CRAP.....Stay in touch and MERRY CHRISTMAS.........Ira

This "hunt" is starting to develop and grow more by the hour. My involvement in what looks like a very active career as a "CON MAN" is limited to getting the MONEY back or the KNIVES already paid for by several formites.

SIMON is either very smooth, or something happened in his life to cause him to go "bad". There is a history of him being a "Fair Trader" at one point, while active here and on KF. Although he used a Different E-mail address, he did consumate several deals in the positive.

Now, it seems SIMON is in very deep selling not only knives but Precription meds, tools, stamps and coins. HIS Current E-mail Address is an active account, but when checked by my contact in England showed over 300 unread E-mails.

Those that are helping me help the formites are "trying" to concentrate on just making good on his knife-dealings, but things are starting to become a major issue with LE in Ireland.

Simon has been or will be very shortly given an ultimatum. "DELIVER THE KNIVES or RETURN ALL OF THE MONEY." After that, SIMON is on his own with the Authorities on his side of the Pond.

I will keep all informed, but if anyone has any info on Simon McGLYNN, please E-mail it to me as soon as you can. If this is "new info" for you, I SUGGEST very strongly that you do NOT engage in any type of 'DEAL" with SIMON McGLYNN.

I have forwarded your emails to me to the group. The very least I can say is thanks. To anyone who reads this, let it be known - Ira is for real, he is 100 percent genuine good guy, I am humbled by generosity, and thankful for friends like him in the knife community.

I honestly think he may be a big heavy guy in a red suit that drives reindeer through the sky.....

As I said, I HAVE GREAT fun doing this. I enjoy the challenge and I ENJOY helping people. Life is just too short to sit back and watch folks get SCREWED and KNOW that you could have helped them.

My contact in England has MADE contact with a LEO in SIMON'S neighborhood. HE [SIMON the SCHMUCK] should EXPECT a Visitor tomorrow. I just have NO CLUE what the time zone is on the other side of the Atlantic.

If SIMON does not IMMEDIATELY do the RIGHT thing, I WILL NEED to talk with you personally Mark.

Update.......Simon is being investigated for just about every type of fraud known to man. IF I KNEW what the time difference was in Ireland, I could tell ya exactly when Simon was going to have this "visitor".
I have a list of "other web-sites" where SIMON the SCHMUCK "preys" upon people with a "weakness". For example, he preys on Blade Forums and others somewhat similar, and throws out "super deals" that are difficult to say NO to. He has his sales pitch down pat. He goes to the Chronic pain Boards and posts narcotic Pain Meds for sale. He is Now HURTING people not only financially, but emotionally. Imagine a person in severe Intractable pain, unable to work, who sends Simon the Schmuck $500.00 Via WESTERN UNION for Morphine Tablets (M.S.I.R.)Then, Simon ceases to answer any E-mails. Simon communicates via E-mail very well and does a GREAT "Con-Job". After the "hook" is in the the Money is CONFIRMED and recieved, Simon sends an E-mail that the "items" are on the way via FEDEX. Then that is it, NO MORE CONTACT.
As of this afternoon (EST), Simon has over 500 UNANSWERED E-mails. After several folks are Interviewed in Ireland and England, LE will decide how to proceed. I WOULD prefer that NO ARREST be made UNTIL after he makes good on the deal with the four formites. Then, My vote is with a SOAP-ON-A-ROPE, First Production Run, Serial Number 4Q2.
But if SIMON does not take care of the KNIFE folks, He GOES DOWN!!!!!
Please, if you have been "SCAMMED", and have LOST money or a knife, It would be my absolute pleasure to help. It makes my day, and I enjoy it FAR MORE than YOU COULD BELIEVE!!!!!.....Ira:)

That chronic pain post was astounding -- the shmuck offered prescription meds for sale illegally. They should be able to hang him for that alone. What a loser. :(

Ira, the time in Ireland should be five hours LATER than on the US east coast. (8:00 AM here, 1:00 PM there.)

Simon, AKA SAL is a young punk in his very early 20's. He is living with an 80 year old "non-relative" at an address that is NOT EVEN close to the one provided the formites.
WITHOUT going into great detail YET [I need to get some money for my knife Buddies!] THIS POS has created an "identity" from which to perpetrate FRAUD and DECEIT on a LOT of people. His "current" E-mail address is NOT active. He has set up ANOTHER Internet Identity.
The Schmuck like computers, ALOT. He spends quite a bit of time on a certain forum where microsoft software/PC hardware is the main topic, with many PC related sub-topics.
Simon likes Tattoos. While this does not make him bad, he USES this to soften up his PREY. He knows quite a bit about this ART, and will line up a "mark" using this as his entry-tool.
Simon/SAL/whoever [WE SHALL ALL KNOW TODAY!!!] spends quite alot of time establishing himself on a forum, learning enough of a topic [here it was knives]making a few deals, and then STICKING IT BIG and RUNNING.
But, SIMON PHUCKED UP!!!! He has left a trail very easily followed by LE. And he BEST look over his shoulder because the ROYAL Constabulary has him in their SIGHTS......
BUT, before they "cuff and stuff", I need to get some MONEY or knives from Good ole Simon THE SCHMUCK!!!!!

My contacts are NOW very actively engaged in this investigation because of the DRUGS and because MONEY was WIRED from the USA to IRELAND.
HOWEVER, Here is the two-dollar question: COULD SIMON actually be a scumbag from the USA who uses HIS OWN contact in IRELAND? And, is the "Simon David McGlynn" actually someone else using FAKE ID as part of a SCAM to have MONEY wired to IRELAND, a "percentage removed" and the WIRED RIGHT BACK TO the USA?
Sure looks like it could be, but I am NOT SURE, nor is LE "over there."
ONE THING EVERYONE is sure of: There is an absolutely MARVELOUS TRAIL to follow. AMATEURS!!!!! BUT, Simon the SCHMUCK is ONE MAJOR-LEAGUE THIEF:( :( :(
So far, there has been "some activity" involving a College student at a Prestigious University on the East Coast. How this fits in, I do NOT know yet. BUT to be safe......DO NOT engage in any SALES, TRADES, or DEALS with anyone that has just appeared ON BF sometime around 12/05/2001 has less than 20 posts, and uses an ADDRESS at a UNIVERSITY in the NY AREA!!!!
UNTIL this "connection" is figured out, SIMON THE SCHMUCK could be back on BF RIGHT NOW:eek: :eek: :eek: .......Ira
 
Hell, I've got nothing to do with it, and still subscribed to the thread as soon as he started it. It's better than any spy novel/series :) This Simon guy has really pissed off the wrong person this time, go get him!!!

SHOULD I have to call, it means that you have disregarded these words of advice: Contact the folks you scammed and get them their money back or you shall find your very young soul being led to jail by the Garda.

During your studies at the University in DUBLIN, did they not teach you how simple it is for the "Government" to "hack" into a home computer? Do I need to say more SIMON? I have been following this matter both in the previous and now in this new thread and want you to know I think that your effort in pursuit of justice for these forum members is highly commendable, but I am even more impressed and gratified by how EFFECTIVE your efforts have been. Whatever results Law Enforcement is able achieve, you yourself have accomplished far more than I (or anyone else) could have reasonably expected. Though I have no direct personal stake in the outcome I greatly appreciate your efforts and results. Thanks.

I hope that the US Government will see fit to turn you loose on Osama Bin Laden.
