hello,

for all those years, single colored alox sak where the only ones to get, they came in diffrent colors and shades or colors. of course some with printed advertising, in an diffrent color and the shield has an diffrent color but that was it.

since i first came to the blade show i was admiring the multy color aluminium anodising and as good i could, here in swiss, i worked on that now how, and mr elsener thankfully supported me with the test work on 29 farmer sak, one is now in his collection.

theres still more now how to test out an the color combinations - styles of the color application etc and the possibilities are near endless.

here in swiss, most people dont like that "radical" new look on the alox sak but thats ok, i havent make them for them but people who cherish them as i do.

the days of single colored alox sak only are finally gone.

many thanks to mr elsener!

Careful! An answer to this question may get a poster carded, according to the "deal spotting" guidelines. Send Roger +B / swissbianco an e-mail with any question you might have.

Shhhhh!!!!! I want them all for myself. Quit telling people about them Roger!

They are not available yet for those of you who want to know, but with any luck they will be soon. E-mail swissbianco(Roger Remund) and talk to him about the knives.

Swissbianco(Roger) is an amazing craftsman who puts his heart into his work, and I can assure you that anything he does is top notch! You really have to see the splashed alox scales, and the pictures of One-Handed Trekkers with colored alox scales and pocket clips......The man does great work.

Keep up the ecellent work Roger!

thanks, this is not for sale, all i want tell is that there are some news. that multy color wont be an regular run made by vic anyway. but it exist, in small +B runs.

also i would like to get the feedback what color combinations you think are best for the us tastes, as im swiss, i dont now.

You can be sure that the flag colours (red/white/blue for US, red/white for Canada) will work well... Wait a minute, those are Swiss colours! :D
Sorry, could not resist!

yes and classic black with silver (alu) color and the two camo, matt-green/brown/black or matt-sand/matt silver/copper.

also i used orange with silver (alu) and orange/blue, you never loose that sak:D

Alternating black and yellow stripes, as seen in hazard signs would probably be a popular design:

I got a red alox Farmer today. Looks great!

swissbianco, Is there any chance that you could convince Victorinox to manufacture a Soldier or Farmer with a proper Phillips driver rather than the combination can opener? Then it would be perfect for me!

One just like that has been my EDC for the past three weeks or so. It works as great as it looks. I just used the bottle opener to uncap a Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. :)

today we made an quality shot of some of them splash but the pic isent ready yet.

on the right light they look verry nice, that alox colors are beautiful.

The Victorinox Farmer is my all time favorite knife, and I like it just the way it is, thank you very much. I would much rather have the can opener left intact because I've successfully used the tip of it on probably thousands of #2 Phillips screws found on the aircraft I was involved with maintaining. I was delighted to find the limited production run of the red Farmers on that famous South American river very recently, and I now have two beautiful spares to back up my old one I've carried for many years. Maybe I'll celebrate my birthday by breaking out a new one and letting my old one bask in retirement. :D
