And number two has arrived.

That Lionsteel is gorgeous. It's probably a little thinner than my two blade model. Congrats! That is a great everyday carry. I sometimes open and close mine just for fun. The snap is great!

Thanks. It's definitely a looker. The ebony scales are almost (What am I saying. They are) too nice to get oil and grease and pipe dope and who knows what other crap all over them in work knife duty. I think I'll make it a Sunday knife. I may or may not have a micarta one on the way now...

Did you already order? I’m interested to find out if the covers are swappable on these. I would like Ebony on the Beerlow.

On the way to me now. And I'm sure they are. I've watched several teardown videos on these. The scales are really easy to take off and put back on.

I personally never plan to take my ebony scales off because I don't trust myself enough to torque the screws properly without cracking them but I'm considering rit dying the micarta one.

Well, when I decided I was done chasing GEC drops I also swore I'd never pay secondary market prices either. But this one... Every detail falls right in line with what I love in a traditional. I was keeping a close eye on them when they were announced but promptly gave up. But every time I saw a picture of one it started activating neurons. So I decided now is as low as the prices are gonna get before they get scarce. I folded like a cheap slipjoint and have a camel blue GEC #49 on the way. Hoping it arrives in time for the three-day weekend.
