Single blade trapper

Proud to be the soon new owner of a #48!!! give or take a few days for shipping. very exciting to move up in the class of traditional knives. not that this comically large rough rider coke bottle isnt fun, but god that stag is gorgeous
 
A beefier trapper would be the Northwoods Madison Barlow single blade. Still slim enough for comfortable pocket carry. Maybe Derrick will do another batch of those?

Hope you like the #48. It won't end with only this knife.

Nope! you guys are all enablers! everyone of you! ;) im sitting here shocked wondering why my boker slimline has a half stop and this case slim line doesnt atm waiting for my new knives
 
The 48 is a great pattern but my all time favorite single blade trapper is the Parker Edwards 1423-1 pattern very easy to open with one hand just one of the best designs out there with a beefier blade and front bolster.

I know a few have them here so they'll have better info on them but I believe the Kabar single blade trappers are made for them by Canal Street.
