Um, Todd. It's supposed to be "you're" as in you are. Your is possessive, like "I lit your truck on fire because I got sick of listening to your bullshit." Lol. Brilliant might not be the most accurate term. :p

Yeah, thanks for the grammar lesson. Now take it up with the manufacturer's of the sticker wiseass!

Thought you guys might appreciate this...... as most of you know. Murph is here a lot. He spends a lot of time sitting at the saw cutting out blanks for me. During this time I'm trying to get other knife making duties done. Well, Murph likes to be chatty, and usually talks as he cuts. I think I just figured out a way to increase production. I permanently stuck my most common response to his drivel right there on the saw where he can see it. Man I'm brilliant! Now I dont even have to listen to his bullshit and he can just work  :D SNARK!

That sucks WW.

Yup. just talked to sears. They told me to bring it in tomorrow and they will process the refund, that will take 3-5 days to clear, then i have to order a new one because none of the local stores have them in stock... But as a token of their apology they will give me free 1 day delivery.... Yea ok so what the 1 day delivery only cost me 3.99

So first i have to go to a kinkos so i cant print out the original receipt so i can return it, then i have to drive 20 minutes one way to sears to return it, then wait up to 5 days to order a new one..... and then i save 3.99

Yeah, about the way it works unfortunately.

Well that settles it.

Ill be wiping this one down and boxing it up. Sucks they dont have them in stock for more than 50 miles but i dont want to be stuck with a dud.

Thanks guys
WW, I took my first one back as well; the wheels were not "in plane" with one another. To get the belt to sit on the bottom wheel ended up hanging off the outside of the top wheel. Same prob with the second one, just not as bad. Probably could do something with the mounting block for the top tracking wheel, but I'm ok with it now. Been running a lot of 1" belts so not as much of a concern, but still with a 2" belt, tracking properly on the bottom wheel so it doesn't rub against the inside, hangs off the top wheel about a ¼". if the outside guard were ever on, it'd rub. Give me a call if'n you want; you still got my number, right?

That's the first thing I planned to tell him when I got on the saw next.

Sucks about your grinder WW. Probably could be fixed with a couple of redneck adjustments but that would void the warranty and you shouldn't have to do that on a new item. I agree with everyone else. Best return it and get a new one.

Finished at ANOTHER funeral, had a cannoli and an espresso, now I'm at a Mighty Mighty Bosstones concert with my sister. Real funny, I have my new Bark River Little Caper on my hip, and BK-11 around my neck. Chick at the door felt me up, didn't apparently find either one of them. Let me walk right in.

Today was a pretty good day, finally got below 80 degrees here so I sat out on the porch and enjoyed the weather.

Also had brand new USMC 1/4 zip polartec pullover and an Army assault pack waiting for me when I got home from school,

Just looked but didnt see the number, then again im not sure if i saved it right in the first place... Me and phones are not real good friends LOL the more advanced they get the more i dont like em, My number is 267 535 2700 though!!

Yea.. Cant win em all i guess.

However if the next one comes and the only problems are minor i will be looking into those redneck adjustments LMAO, Craftsman isnt going to hold me down and keep me from grinding. Hell if the belt on this one didnt jump all over the place id be keeping it. I could of bent the guard enough to make it not rub.

But your right, on a brand new machine you shouldnt have to "fix" it. I got it all wiped off and boxed up now. Shame though i was looking forward to doing some playing this weekend.

Good haul for sure! The equipment was improving rapidly just in my 4 year enlistment. I imagine the 1/4 zip is pretty sweet. The assault pack looks like the CFP90 (Vecter) daypack that was with the main ruck.

I'm really liking the pullover, it was surprisingly cheap too, only $26 on SG. And the pack is awesome as well, I already have the ILBE assault pack that is about the same size but I have been wanting to try one of these out.

Will do. But I see you do it all the time in your posts. And the apostrophe in "manufacturers" shouldn't be there. Snark.
