Mine are all handle retention, the knife is coated in layers of masking tape for molding.
This leaves plenty of room for the blade, and makes for a quick drawing knife.
Even one this size

I received the first of my 2 sheaths yesterday. Beautiful!!! Perfect retention on the handle, blade does not touch kydex at all!
