I have a peice of cpm 3v it's 12" long, 2 1/2 in wide and .270 thick , obviously I want to use it , this is what I came up with, before I get to cutting and grinding I wanted to post a pic of the sketch and hopefully have you guys point out any flaws in the design, any constructive criticism is welcome, thanks .

That looks like a beefy overbuilt knife that would be awesome. I think the finger/hand guard would be better straightened out. Seems like it would be more ergonomic.

Hmm il sketch it straight and see how it looks, that is one of the areas I was curious about, thanks

I think the clip makes the point look very blunt.
Personally I'd raise the point up a little bit and start the clip farther back on the spine. The spine also looks too straight to me. More curves, spine and blade edge, would look better.
And like ATG said, I'd alter or remove that guard type thing.
It's gonna be a tank of a knife, that's for sure.

So if I remove it then I just come straight down and start the blade ?
As for leaving the spine very straight I thought it would provide a better surface for batoning

K altered it a bit, I'm not really sure what to do about the top yet

+1 to both the other guys (or does that make it +2). Leave a little curve for your finger and go straight down for the last bit. Also, bring the ricasso down to the edge or thereabouts so if your hand does slip it won't meet the back end of the bevel.

Eta: saw your last pic after my post went up. If you want to go with a Spanish notch, bring it a little more forward and not so deep. How 'bout trying a nice smooth curve where the clip is.

I posted that while you were posting your new sketch.
Pretty similar to the one I linked to.

My suggestion would be to round the index finger portion of the handle/blade out a little more.

I like the handle in the second pic best. If you are going to steepen the clip like that move the tip back towards the spine a touch to. Honestly I liked the blade on the original. More mass out front for chopping and no weak little tip to bust off when batoning. But hey every one wants every knife to look pointy go for it.
My question is what's the purpose of this knife? It's not a bush crafty knife. It's not a fighter. I think it's a rough use field knife.
