Sketchen Scales Customs

That 0630 makes me want to class up my new 0620.... When circumstances permit.

Awesome work, as always!

ZT0770 with geared moonglow backspacer:

Steve, masterful work....I'm sure I'll gain more grip with the geared backspacer (much needed as it fires hard) and the moon glow will aid in locating it in the dark. Thanks for your patience on this project. Side note, I have a Brous Silent Solider in Ghost Jade...it needs to lose some weight...thinking about a Ghost Jade geared backspacer for it. (who needs the big hunk of metal for a backspacer? , just saying.

After just seeing pics I realize I might be in trouble. Your work might end up being more addicting than the knives themselves.

Without a doubt. I was telling Steve a while back that whenever I look to buy a new knife one of my criteria is whether or not he can can work with the scale. Steve's done 4 for me so far and I'm planning on sending him numbers 5 and 6 soon. I just can't get enough of his work with different species of wood. Truly masterful work!

Thanks a million guys, your comments mean a lot to me.

Funny you should chime in Ttran... Just finished this up and doing the backspacer tomorrow. I left it at 600grit for a badass satin finish:

The owner and I decided on smooth forest green g10 for the native, to match his page in the same. Coarse peel ply just didn't look right on a knife as small as the lava. I think it was the right choice. :-)
