Sketchen Scales Customs

^Redwood Burl is probably my favorite wood type you have offerred so far, Steve. It's certainly stunning in pictures, but really shines in person. As always, you're really able to bring out the beauty of the grain pattern. Awesome stuff.

You'll be very pleased with Steve's work. He made the grain dance in the ironwood.

Edit: slightly different angle...

I'm curious what the lock side looks like on these knives with "deleted" lanyard holes, I really like the look, but it might bother me to have a blind hole, unless Steve can plug it in some manner?

On mine is basically a hole next to the clip. I've seen people tie a lanyard there, or use a knot to keep a lanyard in place. I don't use lanyards, so 1 hole on the lockside is better than a hole all the way thru for me.

Perhaps Steve or someone else can mill a g-10 plug for it. Or out of Moonglow even. I can probably take a pic of the lockside tomorrow if you'd like.

:o Had to go grab my Sketchenized Domino....yep, there is a hole in the Ti side, alright! I NEVER even looked, so never noticed it until now.

Thanks, just did this southard in redwood burl today:

Exiledviking, I don't work with CF, glass fiber, or metal, but I could do a backspacer in most other materials. Send me an email at sketchenscales at gmail.com to discuss.

As for the hole in the titanium side of framelock, I can't do a plug but it's really not noticeable. In fact, I think a plug in a different material would draw more attention than the hole.

can you make scales for the spyderco dice and also the delica i'd like a set for both
thank you
send me a pm

Can't do pinned knives like the caly unfortunately. Hope they release a model with screw construction at some point.

Benchmade 581 with red ctek and red/white double liners:

I wouldn't notice anything in the air since I wear a respirator all day. :-D

I did happen to finish this contoured black paper micarta set today though...

I dunno what it is about the lines of the Captain, but I feel like it fits really well with the crazy ctek! Awesome as always!
